We had the flu. We had a blizzard. We had the frigid cold. We had (have) the long nights. I have a case of the complaints. It's been a long couple of weeks.

Thankfully my mom is here to help out this week. I don't know what I will do when she leaves. Have piles of laundry and dishes perhaps. I told her she needs to stay for a month. She wishes that she could. Maybe come Sunday morning there just won't be a ride for her to the airport? Sneaky sneaky.

Ok guys...y'all. (I've been wanting to say y'all on my blog for a long time now. I think I'm allowed to now that we are moving to North Carolina. They say that there right?)

So, y'all I was doing SO well with my new eating "habits". So very well. But then something was brought into the house, a very slippery slope by the name of ice cream. Then I was a goner. Have eaten some every night this week. And this event happened..the Super Bowl. And I ate cherry chocolate cobbler. No control y'all.

Then this happened in our house today.

My mom made cookies with Henry for Valentines Day.

I may have helped with some quality control.

Oh and we didn't forget about you...my glowworm that keeps me up into the wee hours of the night.

He's sleeps, but not all the time. He also does this.

But it's cute and I like him. He's a keeper y'all.
