Before I Know It

I have a feeling that Halloween will be here before I know it. It will sneak up on me in all the busy that our fall is going to be, and I won't have anything for Henry to wear, and my dreams of being super mom that made her son's costume for every year of his life will be ruined forever.

Ok, maybe a little too dramatic. Plus my mom made his costume last year. Here he is as Super Cute Man.


Can you see my post-birth-hormone hair loss going on? It finally came back and now I have little whispies on both sides that I have to flat iron everyday, but I'll probably loose it again in a few months. ::sigh::

I've asked him what he wants to be this year, but he won't tell me. He just says "gurggle-murgle-lala-dada?" He is quite chatty these days, and everything sounds like a question. But no concrete words yet. So I guess I'll just choose something for him.

I guess I should be happy to choose. My mom made all of our costumes, but I decided to be things like Steve Urkel and Abraham Lincoln.

Here are some fun ones that I have seen, though a couple may some seem a bit ambitious for this amateur sewer, but I'm sure we'll come up with something. And I'm sure it will be made on October 29th.
