The Retrieval Project

After reading Joe and Jenny's story here, I felt like I could somewhat relate to their journey. Not that I have four kids, but I do know what it feels like to move somewhere, and then realize it wasn't quite what you had imagined. We did this when moving to Arizona. It was a great little adventure, but we realized it wasn't all we had thought it might be once we got there. So we trekked it back to Illinois. Now three years later we are trying to trek it right back out west. If you are in the market for some affordable art, or would like to know what else you can do, visit them here.

She-bible: Sale

A while back I discovered She-bible and their wonderful clean, simple, yet unique clothing line. It popped in my head this morning to revisit their site. Lo and behold all of their fall and winter things from last year are still on sale! Even though it is still July, I'm already thinking about fall/winter (blah to Illinois winter). So I'm drooling over this Bandit Scarf that is down to $10 from $36! Everything is sewn right in San Francisco.

First Baseball Game

First Baseball Game

Family outing with B's coworkers to the baseball game. Henry woke up long enough to eat and snap a quick shot of him enjoying the game. I drank way too much soda and ate way too much cotton candy, needless to say I had a difficult time falling asleep last night.

Swoon: Bellebas

BELLEBAS
bellebas.etsy.com

Loving everything about this Etsy shop. Wonderfully unique clothes and great product photography. It makes me not only want the clothes, it makes me want to live their story as well.

These Days

I'm living my life in two - three hour segments

I wait for someone willing to watch my bundle to come over, just so I can shower

I sleep lightly and open my eyes to check at every little 'ahh' and coo

I ruin oatmeal and eat it anyway

I wonder how we possibly lived life before without knowing our Henry
